It doesn't look like such a dramatic storm here, but it was impressive. The pond poured out on all sides and a small stream formed in front of the house. There's no shortage of water around here.

Thunder, lightening
So much for our first poolside apéro of the season! The timing just wasn't right. After a warm day and a leisurely afternoon swim (the water is still chilly, but never mind), and just about the time I had everything all ready (cheese, crackers, ice bucket, what have you), we had a serious downpour. It was a scramble to get the pool covered and everything else inside. We made it.
