Five days into the new year, and four days since my husband and I moved to New Jersey...it might not sound like the most enticing/intriguing place to land, but we're looking forward to settling in here and exploring the East Coast.
This is my seventeenth move...and my third international relocation. Back to the States this time - almost "mi-chemin" between where I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and my husband's native Switzerland, where we've been living for the past few years.
I'm not so sure that practice makes perfect when it comes to moving: each time there are more things to pack, more people involved. Higher expectations?
In any case, I thought (actually,a couple of people thought - I can't take all the credit here)that I should write about the experience this time...so here it goes! More posts to follow soon...
