Bottling

I'll confess. I miss living on a vineyard - it was lovely to see the changes and follow the activities throughout the year, the seasonal workers, the growing, the picking, the bottling...the parties.

On a whim, we did one of those "make your own wine" things here, as a small ersatz. We started last autumn and went back a few times to work through various steps. Last night, we bottled, corked and labeled the wine - a funny process. Here's a few candid shots...







And the finished product. Not sure how good it really is, but it was an entertaining way to pass some time with friends and strangers. And you know who gets a kick out of the bottles. Cheers!
