Gemüsegarten

We managed to get a little raised vegetable bed in today - just a small one to start. We'll see how we do. I'd still like to mix some flowers in - I'm thinking marigolds and nasturtiums - for the color and as a little deterrent for the animal friends (this is what H. calls the local wildlife).



Tonight, I can tell tell I spent some serious time out there with the rake and shovel - I'm tired, also a bit sunburned around the edges. And it smells like there's still a little cedar lingering on my skin.

Still lots to do - starting with the fence that needs to be anchored a little better. I can't wait to get back out there!
