Autumn on the East Coast

It's my first autumn here on the East Coast, and it's as pretty as I'd hoped it would be. The cool mornings, lit up by a tangle of color, are my favorite part.

Of course, I hope our yard will look a little spiffier this time next year, but we've had a thing or two to do these past few months (over seven in the house now) - and many deer (they come for breakfast, lunch and dinner). But even as is, I love it. Here are a few quick shots:
