Sunday morning, lazy and a little update on the house projects

It's a sunny Sunday morning, which is pretty much just what we needed about now...maybe the ice on the back walkway will finally melt properly (it's been treacherous, getting to & from the car this week; the shortage of eco-friendly salt at the shops in town isn't helping).

Anyway, it's warm and toasty inside. Frothy lattes and a big savory omelet helped. Alice is still sleeping (or rather sleeping again), Otto is busily patrolling the yard (we have robins, for the second time this year today, which is hopeful) from his favorite window, and we're procrastinating on the chores...listening to webradio from Switzerland (the football, I mean soccer, game is about to start...a big game for FCB).

On the house front, our living room is coming along, these days. We found (rather unexpectedly, we'd just about settled on a another idea when we stumbled upon these) three very cool charcoal sketches that just came back from the framer to hang in there. Can't wait to see how they look on the wall. Now we just need to find chairs and attack the other side of the room. Bit by bit, it's coming together.
