A little update on the garden

All is well. It's been pretty damp, and I'm not complaining - everything looks so lush and green again. It's been great for the garden. And has made the weeding so much easier! I took out at least 5 big bags worth last weekend, which felt & looks good. We still need to do another round and maybe even get some mulch down in some of the beds. I keep tinkering with it in the mornings before work. My goal is to really have things properly clean before putting in any new plantings. Looking forward to adding a few more easy to care for natives...and of course, some tomatoes and herbs.

In the meantime, Otto is enjoying the views and the return of the diverse animal friends who visit the yard more often now that spring is well underway.
